Don't get me wrong, i realise that many teenage mums ARE all those things. But not all. Infact i know of many older mums who are all those things and worse. Who's to say that a teenage mum can't be a better parent than someone, say, well educated, with money and a nice home? I myself had my son at 17. Myself and my partner (and we're still together) went from living in a council flat earning under £100 per week to having a morgage, a car each, me a degree and him a good job and i can honestly say our son is wonderful. Many parents who have children at a later age are just as bad as the teenage mums

Absolutely Candy flossie. There are a lot of Good teenage
Moms, and there are a lot of bad teenage moms too who probably need help from someone such as your self.
You could do a lot of good if you'd put your knowledge to good use by helping some of the weaker teen Moms to cope.

If the teenage mums are living off the dole (that's welfare for those on the west side of the pond), then everyone has the right to call them scrounging, immature, and selfish. If they are earning their own keep, then nobody has that right.

well, you earned the right. But the pressures are different today, and lots of teenage mums haven't a clue!
