nope but it will show that they have codeine in their blood test if the blood test is looking for it (often the blood test is given parameters to only look for certain things). But no, there's no cocaine in Tylenol with codeine, codeine is a controlled and prescribed substance whereas cocaine is an illegal substance that cannot be prescribed (pharmaceutical companies cannot use illegal substances in the manufacturing of their products).

There are some drugs that can make a urine test positive for cocaine. Codiene is not one of them. However, some OTC meds. can make you show up positive for cocaine as well as opiates. But it's a rare mix of certain OTC and Rx drugs that must be taken at a certain time. The answer to your question of codiene, is definitely not. If someone has tested positive for cocaine, it's because they have been partying with it! Ask the local pharmacist, he'll confirm this. The drugs that can make you test positive for cocaine is meds usually used for elderly people.

No. I'm taking Tylenol 3 for arthritis pain in my knees. As several people said, it will show up as an opiate. You just take your medication with you, show it to whoever is administering the test. From the bottle, they can call the doctor and/or pharmacists and confirm that you have a medical reason for taking using T/3.

No, codeine is not related to cocaine. It is related to the class of drugs called opiates (morphine, heroin, etc.), so the blood test is likely to come up postive for opiates.

The best thing is to just tell them you had to take Tylenol with codeine.

No. It will come up positive for opiates. As long as you inform them up front that you are taking the medication and you have a prescription for it you will be ok and will pass it.
