So homecoming, coming up, and I'm pretty certain no one will ask me. Last year I went with a bunch of friends, but still didn't have a very good time. Do you have any suggestions for this year that will help me accept that I'm not going with a guy and have a really good time?

You can go with your friends or you can make the dance a sandy hopkins dance. You ask a guy.
You make your own fun at these events. The fate is the self-fulfilling prophesy is as expect. If you are planning to have a miserable time, you will. But if You are planning to have a wonderful time, you will.

Did your lack of guy cause your lack of fun last year? If you were upset about not going with a guy, you probably convinced yourself that you wouldn't have as much fun as you could've. Get that out of your head. Learn to have fun with your friends. There are some great things about being unattatched. You can dance with any cute guy who comes your way, and you don't have to worry about entertaining your date. Remind yourself how cute your dress is and how much fun you'll have dancing with your friends. It all depends on your attitude. If you get psyched up for homecoming, you're guaranteed to have the time of your life. If you let yourself feel down about not having a date your mood could ruin your night. Good luck! I KNOW you'll have fun!

Honey I know this sounds crazy but you need to seriously bust out. Get a damn good dress with lots of pizzaz and sparkle, then you need to get your own D*** limo and maybe one or two friends to go and I wouldnt condone drinking to minors but a few jacks and coke mixed by mom and you will dance the night away oblivious to what anyone else says...you deserve to rock your prom, not the other way around...you only get so many years in life and you had better learn to take full advantage of the fun that can be had insead of moping around. You will do fine, be wild honey. :) Only live once! Take Care-Rachel.

Don't think about what you don't have. Focus on what you do have. At least your not at homecoming by yourself. Or not there at all. You got your friends there. Be thankful of that and think on making the homecoming with friends even better. You never know you could meet someone there.

Seriously, just hang out with your friends. The singles ones. I'm sure they feel the same way. Or you can go around and meet new people...like single guys who are there. They might ask you out on the next homecoming or be your date for the night.
Just go out there and have fun. =)
Dance like no one is watching.

Flirt with someone, become friends, THEN pop the question. It's ok if the girls asks. It's a little bit of a turn on.

you can go by yourself and then maybe someone will ask you to dance its sounds like guys there are cheap and dont' want to spend money or you can go with group. i mean i would love the group thing generally its fun then also. but its up to you i wouldn't miss it they will all be talking about it.
