Okay here is the situation. I once dated this guy who I longer speak with. We were friends after the break-up and still sort of was dealing with each other, but taking things slow. However one day I noticed a long extensive talk time to a particuliar number on his phone call records. Of course I did not want him to know.that I acessed his personal information. Anyway out of frustation, I left several messages on his voicemail saying some cruel things to him such as regretting meeting and dating him and more unpleasant words. After realizing what I have said, I waited several weeks and tried calling to aplogize. He refused to answer my call! Anyway, I just found out he is in the hosptail and has been there since Wed. To confirm, I called the hosptial and they confirmed he is a patient. And yet out of curiosity, I called his room number and he answered.

Should I send him flowers and remain anonymous since he does have a girlfriend? Should I text him? What should I do?

I would send him flowers from "an old friend"...that way he knows someone cares about him. I wouldn't text him or go see him because that might be overstepping your boundaries as an EX-girlfriend. You are a really good person tho..Kudos to you.

Considering your keeping tabs on him and snooping through his phone bills, I would have to assume that your just a jealous ex who can't deal with the fact that he has moved on. Or maybe he hasn't and he's talking to a friend about his own ****. If I were him I wouldn't want you coming around and trying to be nice to me after you went through my stuff, and called me to yell and scream and say hurtful things. Just stay away from the poor guy, you've already violated his privacy, verbally degraded him and now he's in the hospital.

Don't you think he's been through enough for right now?

Nope. He became an ex for a reason. With something like this, I wouldn't seriously try and get a hold of him. If you couldn't get a hold of before he landed in the hospital, he probably did hear your messages and decided to move on. Let things be and move on, it's probably not something you want to hear, but there's no reason at this point to continue.
Good luck!!

Dont stay anonymous. That will just things weird between you and him. Try to be friends with him. He moved on so should you. Send the flowers, he needs support right now. I'm sure he will be happy to receive them. Maybe you should try to think on his position :)

Send the flowers. You're sorry you said mean things, you're sorry he's in the hospital. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Just be sure to put you're sorry about both on the card.

Leave him alone. He will be alright. He has a new gf and she is probably at the hospital. Her seeing flowers from an ex, will bring up all sorts of questions ans accusations.

I wouldn't send anything. He's moved on, so should you. You're an ex for a good reason. You've proven yourself by going through his records. He obviously wants nothing to do with you. Let it go.
