Is that what the bible says? Doesn't it also say that Jesus turned water to wine. Why would he do this? So that the people at the wedding would go to hell? Sounds like either you don't know what you're talking about or the bible's got some explaining to do.

I guess you need to learn more about the Bible since Jesus turned water into wine...and he also had wine at the last supper.

It's also said and a proven fact that it's good for health if you drink one glass of red wine a day.

Learn a little more facts before you turn into a juceitarians on wrong facts.

By your reasoning, jesus was an enabler.

We all know the famous bible story of how he turned water into wine.

Why would he do that if drinking were immoral?

To be mean? To tempt people?
Nice god ya got there.

if drinking is so bad, why is it a featured part of mass each week?
You know, the "this is my blood" part?

Why would you worship in this way if it was wrong?

Where in the bible is this "explicitly stated"? If it is wrong why would he turn water into wine. Does he hate us and want us to go to hell? If so I am looking for a new religion.

I don't think you've been reading your Bible, missy. It says drunkards are fools, but never that if you drink you'll go to hell. Especially since, you know, if you're saved, you won't go to hell anyway. The act of getting drunk is probably a sin, but drinking a glass with dinner or whatnot is not an offense that sends anyone to hell. Go read.

Didn't Jesus have wine at the Last Supper?

Hmmm... Maybe you're reading the abridged version of the Bible... You do read don't you or do you just obey blindly to what someone tells you?

Just like to point out the fact that in biblical times, there was no such thing as refrigeration. To keep grape juice, they HAD to let it ferment. There's no way around it.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged... The bible does not say that you will go to hell for drinking, otherwise we'd all be dehydrated.... I think you need some prune juice and fiber!

Jesus turned water into wine, plus he drank all the time! You're misinformed, missy.
