Here are the main differences between LCD and Plasma:
1. LCD TV's don't reflect as much light so they are better in bright rooms.
2. LCD TV's require much less energy so they are cheaper to operate.
3. LCD screens are less likely to get an image burned onto the screen like a CBS logo in the bottom corner.
4. Plasma's produce a better overall picture because they are brighter and the black colors are much deeper.
5. The lifespan of Plasma's are usually shorter althought they are becoming better and better all the time.

If you are in a bright room, LCD may be a better buy because it can be very difficult to even see the screen of Plasma when its bright and it requires less power.

If you are looking for the best possible picture and don't mind the energy use, Plasma would be a better buy. Hope this helps!

various the operational transformations are that Plasma TVs use greater electrical energy than liquid crystal demonstrate TVs, are greater convenient to "burn-in" (created ghost photos from durable displayed photos), do fade in brightness with age, and are often greater costly than liquid crystal demonstrate TVs. Plasma TVs besides the fact that have the brightest and clearest reflects of liquid crystal demonstrate TVs have a shrink to the size they are in a position to be made to (i think of that's now 40 two"), could have pixels go undesirable (which ability they do no longer replace to the main suitable shade displayed interior the photograph), and might have "blurry" action (brought about by using sluggish replace of pixels.). they don't be bothered by burn-in like Plasma and CRT TVs, are fade-resistant, and are often a sprint greater fee-effective than Plasma. The brightness and clarity is extremely such as Plasmas additionally.

Plasma televisions don't get dimmer when you change your viewing angle.
Plasmas have better picture quality.
LCD's don't have glares from the sunlight.
Both are thin and have nice shape and you can hang them up on the wall.
I think both of the choices are great, so go for the one you like the best.
