Please advise me. If a guy likes a woman as more than a friend...I mean if he would like to have her as his girlfriend, then how does he behave with her. I mean if he flirts with her, how does a woman know that he is not just 'joking' her? Sometimes, I get really confused and don't know if a guy is just complimenting me or if he really has feelings for me. Guys, especially try to give me some good advice.

well for me all good relationships begin with friendship.

and about the joking, well that's a bit difficult to identify, I guess you'll have to prove her, give her lots of flowers, a bracelette. ya know, girly stuff.

Well, if you are very intuitive then you ususally get a vibe & you just know. A sure way of telling is by asking yourself:- Is he willing to do all kinds of stuff for you? Does he drop other things/plans for you or try to involve you in the plans that he has made? How much time do you spend together? Does he talk to you about other relationships of his? Do they last long or are they fleeting? If you are interested but are too shy to ask outright or are afraid of rejection, then ask subtle questions about his ideal woman etc, not just outta the blue as you might embarrass yourself, more like when you are on certain subjects that give you the opportunity to ask him stuff. Don't interrogate him though, you might scare him! By the way, my nickname implies that I'm a guy but I'm actually a woman, and this has happened to me a good few times in the past, sometimes it's just obvious!!
Hope this helps, good luck!

Make the first move. Do things that require contact. A lot of guys are just scared to make the first move when it involves a friend; there afraid to hurt the relationship. If your friends, you allready got the hard part out if the way.

well if you like guy just continue to be yourself. one of the biggest problems are that when a girl likes a guy or vise versa, and they start to date they try to change the way they think about the other. they start trying to be the person they think the other might like. honestly, thats what turns the other away. if you just stay the way you are when you first met, it just makes things less complicated, because thats why they liked you in the first place. i hope this helps.

If you like him. Just continue flirting back with him. If he really is flirting with and is liking you as more than a friend. It will come to surface :) really soon. Good Luck...

ask him?
some guys flirt, joke etc., with someone they want to go out with to see if the flirting is returned...it is a way some guys avoid what they perceive as rejection

make up a story about some imaginary guy that is trying to go out with you. unless he is very good, you will see a change in his behavior or he will stop talking to you altogether if he wants more than friendship.

You should be able to tell when a guy isnt just "jokin" or bein nice, when a guy shows alot of interest in you (besides sex) then you should get the hint.
