How much are we suppose to tip our hair dressers?

I usually get a cut & color...shoulder-length hair...and I
NEVER know how much to tip. My hairdresser is really
great...but am I giving too much or not enough? I don't
know...(and no one else seems to know either!)

10 to 15% is standard.

Usually it's 15% of the total amount.
I've been a licensed cosmetologist for thirty years.

Go with your gut. If u give them too much well it's their luckly day. If you give them too little ask for a different person next time. 15% to 20% will do.
