If you were serious, I could give you some evidence about the reality of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh.
But I don't think you are serious...

Think about the consequences! All those wasted arguments! You can't demythologize someone who never existed. (Well, maybe you can but it's not the same.)
Look, there were thousands of self-styled, wandering rabbis in those days, half of them probably named Jesus. Just pick one! The details don't matter! Everyman! Jesus is an Everyman, one guy like any other. You, me, we're all Jesus! Wait-- I'd better calm down or I'll start a new religion.
Just believe, okay? What could it hurt? This obsession with facts will just bring you grief.

I do not really understand your question. You say that you are an atheist and you are starting to doubt the existance of Jesus. Atheists by default do not believe in Jesus.
To me you sound more than a believer that are starting to have doubts about your religion. Do you believe that God exists?

stop reading, go and see a pastor and they will tell you there are hundreds of historical documents left by the romans that verify the existence of jesus. there is even a copy of the bill for the last supper. but under no circumstances should you be tempted to check this out, do not google it, do not try to find them at your local library. just lay back and let it all wash over you, yes that's right just relax and let your mind empty. doesn't that feel so much better not having your head cluttered up by thoughts and ideas. just look around you isn't that proof enough, why bother looking for evidence and testing it, this is sooooo much easier.

First of all, to all the sarcastic athiests spewing crap out the wrong end SCREW YOU. just because you cannot see God doesn't mean other people can.
To the asker: there is much scientific evidence to support christianity. The head of the Human Genome Project, Francis Collins wrote a book about a year ago about how he converted from atheism to christianity, not because of the bible at first, but because of his scientific discoveries. Read it for solid scientific evidence. Dont do anything else before this. Your pastor most likely has no scientific background and will only dampen your faith, same with your friends and parents.

How can you be an atheist and still believe in Jesus? That is very odd to me. Jesus and God are both one and the same did you know that? God can manifest into three forms, His true spiritual form, Jesus (His human form ), and the holy ghost which dwells in each and every one of us. Jesus is not only real but so is his teachings, his words of wisdom and knowledge.

well first of all there really is no point if you don't believe in Jesus as God's son than there is no reason to believe in him.
But History actually say he existed and was crucified, history just cant prove he came back to life. i still think you should read the bible and do some research on Christianity and then decide for yourself whether he was alive and whether he was Gods son.
I personally believe that he was Gods son.

It's fairly well documented that a man named Jesus did exist then and was crucified. The Romans were pretty hardcore record-keepers.

Try some of Bart D Erhmans work. There sure isn't much evidence for a miracle working son of god.

Take a look at any depiction of the Last Supper and say to yourself, over and over, "Jesus has olive breath. Jesus has olive breath. Jesus has olive breath."
