to delete pictures from your computer all you have to do is right click on the picture and select delete...be sure to empty your recycle bin after you delete all the pictures you want to delete to free up the hard drive space. To delete more then one picture at a time all you have to do is hold down the ctrl key while clicking(left mouse button) on each picture you want and then release the ctrl button and right click on one of the highlighted pictures and select delete. If all the pictures are one after the other that you want to delete then select the first picture you want to delete and then scroll down to the last picture you want to delete and hold down the shift button and left click on that picture...this will highlight ALL the pics starting with the first one you selected all the way to the last one. then release shift button and then right click on one of the highlighted pics and select delete....again remeber to empty the rcycle bin when your done

Hi Tom
It's a right click then select Delete.
However you might need to know this.
When you delete anything from a PC it's not really deleted. It just tells the PC if you need to use that space where the deleted file was can be used if needed. Even emptying the Bin it's still on your PC hidden
You might write over that spot in a few hours as you save new data. You might not ever write on that spot again. The correct software can sometimes recover deleted files.
You need a program that will delete and write over that spot 7 times (NASA wipe)

EZ wipe is good and free. Once installed right click and select EZ Wipe and set to 3 or better still 7 wipes.

simple just reinstall windows. put the cd in that came with the comp. turn off the computer. put the windows reinstall disk in as you start up. hit f12 to go to boot menu (do while the screen is black. If you see windows loading you need to restart.) once you hit boot from the cd you just hit any button. and widows will start installing itself. Then when it gets to partitioning the hard drive tell it to delete the partition and then format the unpartitioned space using ntsf and don't the the quick format do the regular format. Otherwise the guy can use REcuva software to get the deleted images back. a full disk format almost 100% guarantees that he can't do that. and it isn't a pain in the ***. I used recuva to restore some accidentally deleted files at work. Took twenty minutes of using a hard drive recovering software while i walked around and did other stuff.

The easiest way to find and list all your photos would be to download Googles Picassa free,it's so easy use. When you install and run it asks you if you want it to search and collect all pictures on your computer, than just click on delete the pictures you don't want.
