"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." - Heb. 11:1 NIV. I hope for Heaven, and I am certain that God exists (and watches us). I, personally, can't find a better being or thing to believe in.

Experience is interesting. Anyway, I know that my experience is the feeling. For example, giving or other good deeds feels great. "It is more blessed to give than to receive." - Acts 20:35b NIV. And many instances in which I prayed, I felt better AS I prayed, and even received help (that is, comfort or an idea of what I should do). I have also seen Church members come together and do great things for the community. That happened with my Church after a tornado hit Haysville.

Faith...

Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the proving of things not seen.

Romans 8:24 - For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?

2 Corinthians 4:18 - while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

AND

Experience...

If your really interested, please email me and ask personally because it will take me a really long time to tell you everything. Also if you want an honest answer, you'll need to keep an open mind because alot of this experience stuff is just unbelievable...

I didn't used to believe in anything. I couldn't believe that there was a God because of some things that happened in which I had no control over.
What happened to me is based on experience....someone said to pray to the Mother and request a flower to be sent to you within two weeks time, sort of a way to know that she heard my prayer.......
I prayed and I felt stupid about it, but I was open minded and decided I would follow this direction....
It was but two days after I prayed that a little boy from the neighborhood handed me a beautiful pink vibrant flower and said this is for you, I wanted to give it to my mom, but it will die before I see her so I want you to have it.
With that I had confirmation that there is something Higher, something more than what I knew or believed.
When I pray I talk to God...when I meditate I actually can feel His presence.

I'll give you an experience. I was living for myself - parting, drinking, womanizing, etc in my spare time yet I was attending college and working at the same time. I had a plan for my life. I tried to live a balanced life but no matter what I did... I felt guilty and alone after the long days and nites. I felt no real direction in my life. I had always been raised in the church and believed in God but I never really practiced what the bible preaches.

I remember praying one day and asking God for a list of things that I felt were lacking in my life. I prayed for a long time and continued trying to live on my own while heading down the same path.

I decided to attend a church retreat. I got away from everything in my daily routine and meet other believers. Here is where God answered my prayers. I've drawn closer to Him today because of the people he has brought in my life. My prayers were vary detailed and they were answered in very detailed ways. But it was the initial step of faith that I had to take...to get out of my comfort zone and really seek after the Lord before He began to reveal himself to me like never before.

god can't be proved nor can you prove a negitive so going by that logic we should all be agnostics how ever i feel that this is wrong because

man has never travelled at or near the speed of C (light) how ever going by what we know logically the g-forces involved should kill anyone attempting it (looking at centrefuge tests) but as its never been done, so it might not kill them, or do any harm that said its never been done, so we don't know should we be an agnostic in regards to this too?

god is not a constant so is not provable, for example we can prove

F=MA or V=uv/ut where u=delta (delta is a greek symbol we use for 'change in') ,

or that mass and energy can neither be made nor destroyed
(thermodynamics)

we can prove this its physics, but can we prove or disprove god, no so should we be agnostic towards it or put our faith in it, should i put my faith in my light anology?

I am one of those people that has had some of those wonderful experiences. I have felt a cold angels hand on my neck when I was asleep. It actually woke me up but if I'm right, it healed me with his/her touch 'cause I was having back problems back then. I have also heard the voice of God and to help prove it, I asked him to give me a sign and in seconds I got the sign ^_^. There are more experiences and I could go on but I don't think you'd be THAT interested. Alls I can say is that good forces and God does exist. You just have to believe in him and all and you will eventually get your chance to feel and meet him : ).

Its everything. Everything around me, everything i do, hear, see.. it all further proves the existence of God. The fact that there ARE so many people that can have blind faith in something that cannot be seen or touched. The fact that the sun rises and sets every day. The fact that the atoms spin in a neverending motion. The fact that I have personally experienced instantanious and miraculous healings. The fact that He did love me enough to give up his life so that i could live in eternity with him. Its all too amazing to be mere evolution, or a selection of some sort, or just a coincidence.

Ever heard of Seeing Is Believing? Well put it in this way. Believing Is Seeing. Like people have said. There is nooo way to exactly describe or show evidence. It's all on you. You can either be poisoined by athiesm or follow the path to heal all your problems. Be open minded and you'll know what I'm talking about.

When I asked Him to come into my heart, there was no question about it. But there were no words. There are no real words to symbolize the experience. No one can have a relationship with God for you. Only you can do that, and when others explain it to you, it won't make that much sense if you haven't experienced it yourself. God will make himself known to you when you are ready and when, in his all-knowing kind way, He feels it is best for you. But no one will ever believe even that if they haven't experienced God's love first hand. It is amazing!

Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would come, and that's been my experience. What can I do but tell you about it? I didn't know what was going to happen when I gave myself to God, but I guess neither of us do until we make the commitment.

Here are the verses ( which I didn't know about at the time) :
7 "But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10 in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. "

The Holy Spirit reacts to the person making the commitment. He doesn't give the same experience with everybody. Though I was alone with no one to show off to, I felt the urge to speak in tongues but resisted, had a childhood problem solved, and had a vision of heaven, all within about 5 minutes.

I am going to go to my grave stating this as a fact.
