I have a 94 Altima that will run but wont move when i put it in gear.Woundering what is wrong with it.

So how many miles does this 14 year old car have on it? Manual or automatic transmission? Any weird noise when it trys to move?

If u have a stick shift it could be ur clutch automatic it could be a transmission problem either one is going to cost some money.See if u a friend that`s good with cars get his opinion.

1st - make sure the emergency brake is off.
2nd - make sure your not blocked - rocks behind wheels??
3rd - according to your manual check the transmission fluid
4th - call a tow truck and have the car towed to the nearest transmission shop - look for the ASE poster.

low trans fluid or bad trans. broken linkage many possible answers .

either you transmission i out or it is your gear shifter....
