What is God?

we are human, dogs are dogs, ants are insects... but what is God?

this has been the most rewarding question I've ever asked.

To understand the answer to your question you first have the limitation of a finite mind trying to grasp infinity. Infinity is without beginning and without end. Infinity encompasses everything. There is nothing outside infinity. If you add one to infinity, infinity does not increase, if you subtract one infinity does not decrease. Infinity is all that there is.

Prior to the creation of the physical universe as we understand it, there is only God. God is all that there is and there is nothing that is not God. God is composed entirely of conscious energy and is infinite and eternal. God is aware of every aspect of God's divine nature, but being infinite - or all that is - God cannot experience every aspect of divinity.

Consider - if you wish to experience that divine aspect of yourself called forgiveness, it requires there be someone other than you who has done something for you to forgive.

So desiring experiential understanding of every aspect of divinity, God modified the vibration patterns of God's body of energy, manifesting the physical universe according to the physical laws our scientists are beginning to understand, thereby initiating a process of evolution that results in intelligent animal creatures that God can infuse with individuations of the personality of God.

God grants these individuations the gifts of free-will and a veil of forgetting so that they perceive themselves as separate from each other and from God, allowing them to interact and experience all that can be experienced.

All of this is truly a physical illusion created by God for the purpose of experiencing all that can be experienced. The underlying reality is that all matter and all individuations of consciousness are composed of the only thing that exists - the infinite God.

God has further provided a plan whereby the evolving creatures of consciousness can find their way back to the source. This plan merely requires the individual to bring their own nature into accordance with the nature of God - which is pure, total and unconditional Love. When the individual chooses to live in accordance with the will of God by loving all of God's creation just as God does, their vibration patterns are brought into accordance with the divine source and they are returned to the loving arms of the Creator.

This was the lesson and example of the life of Jesus, and the core fundamental teaching of all major religions and great teachers of the ages.

So the short answer is - you are God experiencing all that can be experienced. So is everyone you will ever meet. All is One.

Modern physics is confirming this truth through quantum mechanics, m-theory and general realtivity.

God is the Living Allowing Father/Mother/Source that Loves (allows) all things into existence

god is the breath that takes the perfume essence of all the cosmos into your lungs
god is the instincts of the dog ant and insects to adventure into experiencing their own lives
God is the blush on the petal of the rose
God is the pounding of your heart when you witness something awesome or frightening

God is your dreamer
God is your awakened walking around ego
God is what you would be called if you could escape from the programming that the world has given you as mind and become the potentials that lay innate within you for you are made of the same flesh the same kind of brain as those illusive mysterious masters that discovered that they were more than a piece of flesh and endeavored to evolve further than the common goals

and NO ONE else does

except another being that has mastered life and become able to walk with the gods as a god

like Moses and Elijah with Jesus on the mount

truthfully!!! It became into some thing extra formal, yet I used to talk to Him in spite of the reason and because I saved forward to my own ambition and needs, while He gave me avertisements I saved none and did my way going into further and extra trubles! Into an end, interior of a deep depresion, He saved my existence (!!!) the very 2nd I left away of all my deep needs... There, empty heart, i became into crammed with God's easy and Peace and Love - an entire New existence, a clean physique, a clean imaginitive and prescient over the final and the destiny :) :) :) particular, he's my Saviour!!!

Some one had answered "God is Spirit' and this is the scriptures answer as well. Also the scriptures tell us that God became man in the person and flesh of Jesus.
