Will i find God if i were to take my own life? He just took my baby brother who was killed by a drunk driver, then my mom to cancer. That was all i had in this mean world. My depression over the past 6 months have caused me to lose evryting i had, i'm now homeless, and have nothing. I miss my family...i'm sick of spending my days in a library for shelter, sick of searching for food...for jobs that i cant even get because i have no phone or address to leave. I'm at my end...but i love God and want to spend eternity with him and my family...will he forgive me and take me with him? Please pray for my soul!!

Don't think that way friend. There is always a better way. God will show it in time. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you right now. Go to shelter, or the salvation army. But never lose hope. You will stand tall again someday. Be strong. You will be in my prayers.

If I could sit down and talk with you I would do everything within my power to get you to NOT take your own life. With Christ there is always hope. One of the Bible's greatest truths is that God knows all about us, and no matter what we have done or what has happened to us in the past, our lives can be different if we will only let Him take control.

Why is this? If I could tell you only one thing about God it would be this: God loves you. Think of it! No matter how many times we go astray or how much we mess up our lives, He still loves us and yearns for us to turn to Him. And when we do, He forgives the past and comes to live within us and change us by His Spirit. His promise is true: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you" (Ezekiel 36:26).

All of this is possible because of Jesus Christ. In just a few days, we will be celebrating the birth of Jesus over 2,000 years ago—an event that changed human history. But this same Jesus (who was God in human flesh) wants to come into our hearts and be born into our lives today—and when He does, our lives will be changed. Jesus came, the Bible says, so we "may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me" (Acts 26:18).

Don't be a captive to the past. Instead, by faith ask Jesus Christ to come into your life today—and He will. Then ask Him to help you follow Him every day, for His way is always best.

I am sorry for your loss and your pain.

Let me assure you that God is not responsible for the deaths of your brother and mother.

Sometimes death occurs because of "Time and unforeseen occurrence" (Ecclesiastes 9:11) At other times God allows bad things to happen but he is never responsible for them.

Long ago Job, a worshiper of God, lost everything he had, including his family. Then some of his friends proved to be bad companions. Chapters 1 and 2 of this book of the Bible states that the cause of Job's troubles was, not God, but Satan the Devil. Please read this Bible book and I am sure you will gain strength and courage to go on with life by following Job's fine example of endurance.

Suicide is never the answer to life's problems. It only brings suffering and pain to those who loved the one who has committed suicide.

You will one day be with your family again, not through suicide, but through their being resurrected.(John 5:28)

Until then, make God your strength and your place of security and safety. Pray to him, telling him all your problems. He will give you the will to live.(Psalm 34:8; 46:1; 1 Peter 5:6,7; Philippians 4:6,7)

It is very important that you watch your associations. Those who are saying things that will make you angry at God are not good association.(1 Peter 5:8) Be with those who will help you look forward to the resurrection of your loved ones.

no you cant even touch yourself without it being a sin. so if you cant do that, you cant kill yourself either. as much as you love him he probably wont accept you for killing yourself. trust me though, suicide is not the answer and you will find someone who will make your life worth living. in the meantime just be witht he rest of your family. and yes I will pray for you

Go to the Salvation Army. I hope they can help.

Life is all you've got. If you put an end to it, you've truly got nothing.

The only one who can take your life is God-- it is a sin to take it yourself.
