Well I don't know how old you are or anything or if you have gotten your wisdom teeth in or not... but my friend has a small gap in between her two front teeth and the dentist told her it was because of a piece of her gum that hangs down in between her teeth, so therefore if she got that piece of gum removed, when her wisdom teeth grow in, her teeth will shift forward and close the gap. If thats not the case, then I recommend Invisalign... just like pretty much everyone said.

If you don't need full on braces, I would suggest two potential fixes:

1. Veneers or
2. Invisalign

Both can fix small gaps, and with just a minor Gap you might be able to qualify for Invisalign Express, which is cheaper. Just make sure to ask for it when you go in for a consult.

If your willing to spend alot more money than I would recommend invisilign..
But other wise I dont know what to tell ya..
You would have to get braces..
If you only have a gap on top/bottom then only get braces on them..
And it will cost less and work..
Good luck..
Hope I helped..

FYI. 95% OF PEOPLE HAVE SOME TYPE OF OVERBITE.
IF YOU WANT EDGE TO EDGE POSITION OF YOUR TEETH, THIS WILL REQUIRE BRACES.
INVISALIGN IS IDEAL FOR SMALL GAPS.

Its probably not bad if the dentist didn't offer a solution. Its probably fine.
