I would say after the age of 3-4 it would be one every year. But between 6mos and 3 years, it's really endless.

3 months is known to be a growth spurt time but you've probably just got a hungry little girl. My 6 month old was the same. He would feed loads during the day so I changed him to hungry baby formula milk at 2 weeks which filled him up more and would go 4 hours between feeds so give hungry formula milk a go. If it doesn't work go back to the normal milk. I also started my baby on solid food at 3 months. Try some different flavours to give her a different variety. I used to give my baby cereals and other powdered food varieties at 3 months. Good luck! :)

Babies and toddlers have growth spurts every 6-7 weeks
after age 2-3 it slows down, between 2-5 you can expect them to grow about 3 inches
The next major growth spurt happens right before puberty , but it varies all children are different (age 11-14)
I found my info on www.webmd.com, but you may want to check with your pediatrician if you have specific concerns.

I would say they grow constantly between 6 months and 1yr,then they continue growing but more socially, children have growth spurts at different times, I graduated high school with a guy that was 5'3". When I saw him @ the 5th reunion he was about 6'tall. So spurts happen @ different times for that individual.

Geeze! Looking back at my ten year old I would have to say it has been every couple of months she will go and have a little spurt all the way up to an inch or so in a week it seems.
She has long hair and still needs help brushing it and putting it up (largely because she is lazy) and ever so often I will be brushing her hair in the same place with the same foot wear (nothing) and I will notice she is taller!
There was one day she was standing next to her ice skating coach and I actually looked at her coach to see is she was wearing her skates because my kid looked taller next to her!
Every body is different but buying longer school pants in fall is worth it!
