alot of things are impossible for man to do
but nothing is impossible for God to do
but hey, man is steadily working on being God like, he just has to figure out how to make man, not clone him

In my mind, the idea that anything is impossible is what defies logic.
When I examine the world I live in nearly everything I see is something that people just a few hundred years ago would have said couldn't possibly exist. Skyscrapers, airplanes, computers, cars, paved streets, telephones, electricity and countless other inventions are a result of people accepting the challenge of making the impossible possible. If you asked an African slave 200 years ago if they could imagine a time when a black man would have the opportunity to be president (or vice president) of the US or a respected general, they would have said it could never happen...and they were wrong.
To suggest that anything is impossible is reveals a latent arrogance that isn't supported by the lessons of history and nature. According to some estimates, people use just 10% of their brains...and look at all the impossible things humans have done with that little bit...what would be possible if we could use 90 to 100%? The arrogance comes from the suggestion that you know everything...for only if you know everything could you possibly assess whether something (or anything) is impossible.
I have a hard time believing that almost anything is "impossible" for a human being...how much more so would it be for the God who created us? History is filled with people who accomplished things that others thought were impossible...and many people have the great fortune to actually know people who have done things that everyone else thought were impossible. The logic of these lessons seems clear...impossiblity is a limitation in our own minds (self-fulfilling prophecy if you will)...a belief in the idea of absolute impossibility seems somewhat illogical given all the evidence to the contrary!

Something which is logically impossible is therefore impossible. Many other things are impossible, too, but you may need a really competent scientist to find some examples. Chemistry and physics are full of them, as is mathematics. Unfortunately, my education is sufficiently deficient that I cannot find an example.
However, there are also things which are so incredibly improbable that for all practical purposes, they are impossible. Such as my growing younger. There may be some out-there science which could achieve that, but it seems to be a practical impossibility to me.
Unfortunately.

Because God is God and you're not.
God does the possible and the impossible.
You can't take a human, english word like "impossible" and make it apply to an immortal God....that's impossible!
Have a great weekend! See everyone on Monday, God willing.

Contradictions are, by definition, impossible.
For instance, God (or anyone else) cannot draw a five-sided square.

I don't like the term impossible, because it gives humanity a boundary.I always say that there are things that are improbable.

it is true that some things are impossible, for example, to eat your own head ( i apologize for such a graphic example!)
nothing is impossible because nothing cannot exist because there is always something and never nothing, think about it.
it is impossible to have nothing because there is always something.
