my 1998 Nissan maxima's air conditioner is blowing hot air.Is there a do it yourself kit to fix it.?

i had my alternator fixed and now air is broken.Can this have anything to do with the altenator getting done?

do an a/c blast
refuel with r-134
that will cool you off

Yes it can if the mechanic doing the alternator accidently left the A/C compressor unplugged. Black single wire plug look between the radator and A/C compressor. Also there is a 10 amp fuse on the fuse block under the hood by the battery.

Check to see if you have a V belt/serpentine belt missing that gos to your A/C compressor.
