If they were adopted by a family, I don't think they're allowed to give out the families information. The case worker should at least have the decency to let you know something either way.

I had a similar situation, except this is my nephew & niece by marriage. We recently found out that my niece had already been adopted, and so this means that we can not have any contact with her until she is 18yrs old. Sorry. Besides, I know they are your siblings, but for some reason they were placed in Foster Care, do you think communicating with you will help them adjust to their new life or hurt them?

If you are still in school, go to a counselor and ask for their help. It is possible that for some reason the case worker does not want anyone in the family to know where your brothers are. If that is the case, just ask permission to give her/him (the caseworker) letters for your brothers and ask them to deliver the letters.

Try talking to their social or case worker. They should try to keep the family together as much as is possible.
