B. As few bolt-action weapons, rifles & shotguns alike, have 'loaded' indicators, the only way to check the weapon is to visually check the open action, INCLUDING THE CHAMBER, and the magazine.

P.S: If you NEVER EVER look down the muzzle of a weapon, just HOW does one make SURE an unfamiliar weapon's barrel is free of obstructions/debris before firing? ! ! !

None of the Above, first not all bolt action rifles have a magazine, and second you never NEVER EVER look down the muzzle to see if a gun is loaded, thats just retarded. Now to see if it is loaded you will check the open action and look inside the chamber for a visual. However in doing this you will effectively unload the weapon so that should be a clue as well.

I said the never ever part in reference to this obviously inexperienced person with the gun question. To those of us who are more experience I would add never check down the muzzle of your weapon without first ensuring that it is clear of ammo. However, I have seen stupid people with a loaded gun look straight into a muzzle to see if it was clear, usually with a pistol that misfired not a bolt action, but the same principle applies.
