Do Not and I repeat Do Not wait to find out why he is doing this. If you are smart you will leave before it gets worse. No guy should treat you this way. If you don't have enough self respect to let him know in no uncertain terms that you won't put up with his aggression it is an invitation for him to abuse you

not trying to stir things or plant doubt in your head but did he cheat on you while he was away? some men act like this if they are feeling guilty, he might be trying to push you away for some reason, either way, if this is the case then let him have his wish and leave! this is only the begging and if you let him get away with it it will get worse,it will be hard because you love him, but you deserve someone who loves you back, you don't deserve this, no one does. also you should report him to the police, if he his charged it will go on his record, this can be your closure but also a way to subtly worn other women so if they are smart they will stay away from a violent brute like him!!!!!

LEAVE HIM. You definatley do not need to be with someone like that. There are plenty of guys out there that would NEVER do anything to hurt you..physically or emotionally. If you keep letting him get away with it..he wont stop. It will just hurt you more in the end.

It will only get worse. Tell him he can love you as you are or walk. Next time he lays a finger on you, put a baseball bat right between his legs.

You need to get as far away from this control freak as possible, while you can. This does not sound like love and respect.

Seems to me it's a relationship you need to get out of. Whether or not you are on the large size, and whether or not it concerns him enough to comment on it, there are ways and means of saying things and it sounds like tact is not one of his talents. But more important, you mention physical abuse. There is no excuse for that. Get out now - it will only get worse.
