I believe it to be proof of a Divine omnipotent life force....I look at our bodies as quantum machines. I sense that it is the design of our physical, mental, spirit selves that so closely mirrors this pattern of the universal.

our thoughts and how they exist...our spirit and how it perceives our body and how it senses.....so complex....

The connection.....phenomenons.....self awareness.....energy and matter......quantum theory gives a voice to the fabric of existence....universal truths and awareness.

manifestations of material form out of thin are...energy beyond death....all of it made possible by the "IAM"

The globe constantly turns, in motion with the sun, moon and other planets. Perpetually moving and revolving. The atmosphere, environment remains static and yet if you analysed each atom of air, the results would differ from the preceding test. Only to find the same experiment applied a month or so later has revealed the original chemical makeup. Correlation between particles about us change and metamorphosise and yet are self balancing and regain a perfect equilibrium naturally. Quantum Physics has not as yet completely found what triggers and proves these cycles of motion, or a catalyst from which all things move into motion. As so many cogs in the large world machine, man is required to find the One from which all pours forth, rests upon the axis of, and is held by … When man learns this small but significant finding, all else will be revealed, if God* so wills…

Obviously, you are in the right category! Quantum physics deals in the realm of sub-atomic particles and the energy that surrounds them. The basic theory is that at the smallest level of matter, it turns into pure consciousness; or what you might call a universal intelligence that binds the universe together. It also, alludes to Einstein's relativity theory dealing with the speed of light and the theory that time stops beyond that speed. This has significance in Spiritual realm for things like the existence of God, heaven and the spiritual connection that we all have. Lot's of info out there. Quantum Healing by Depak Chopra is a good starting place. peace

I think quantum physics is a cool concept- the idea that we only are where we are because we think we are there is the basic idea. Check out the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know?" for more quantum physics concepts. By the way, it was posted here in religion and spirituality because many people believe in science as opposed to religion, and quantum physics factor heavily in religious and spiritual debates. The question's placement makes perfect sense to me...

Not a lot really, but I think it's the idea that down at an atomic level, particles behave unpredictably. (Like particles of light etc).

It's relevant to RS when looking at the possibility of free will. If you follow certain lines of thought (Pierre Laplace's, for example) you would think that people's actions are determined, which questions the whole idea of moral culpability. If we are determined, is it fair to punish or reward our actions? But, as I understand it, quantum physics adds weight to the possibility that we aren't as determined as all that.

The only other thing I know is that it is relatively new, and largely theoretical, so whilst it can be used to suggest things to do with determinism, it can't be used as a definite proof yet.

On the whole, very interesting, and worth finding more out about it.

Hi Sarahlee.

She is asking it here because Q.P. actually reveals phenomina and characteristics that point to the idea

that the universe is actually a mind, or spiritual if you so choose, construct.

Quantum Entanglement for instance was outlined after experiments were done that showed you could split an atom, take the parts to opposite sides of the world, and whatever you did to one half, instantaneouly occurred to the other half as well.

That's just one example.

Every instant an infinite number of universes are spawned from this universe.

Google Quantum entanglement or Bose-Einstein condensation sometime and that's not even getting weird with it yet.

The universe isn't weirder than you imagine it weirder than you can imagine!

And some people think the mysteries are in one book. LOL

Everything I know about Quantum Physics I learned in Kindergarten.

. . . and forgot since then.

Sorry, I don't even pretend to understand anything about it.

If you think you know quantum physics, you don't know quantum physics. So they say.
