Dear flaxensummer,
A miscarriage is not God's way of giving a person an abortion. The Bible is quite clear that God is not for abortions. Secondly i have known very Godly people who have suffered through multiple miscarriages. God is a God that allows us to make our free choices although different choices often carry different consequences to them. If God were to meddle to that extent don't you think he would prevent the situation from the get-go??
Miscarriage is not any sort of divine punishment. It's something that happens to all kinds of people (regardless of religion, ethnicity, etc.) i think that God hurts and mourns with the people who have to sadly go through that-- i've been close to some family and even had a friend who went throught he painful experience, and God was able to use me to be a comfort and source of encouragement - sharing God's love with them.
Hope that helps. Kindly,
Nickster

No..its simply a tragedy. Miscarriage is just another symptom of sin in the world, resulting from the Fall of mankind.
God bless

If your friend has just had a miscarriage and is saying that then she is feeling really bad about herself.
She thinks she is being punished.

I don't think anyone should lay that at his door. my aunt who had two disabled children believed a miscarriage was your bodys way of ending a pregnancy, when two much had gone wrong with it she said it was natures way of keeping the balance.

whilst a woman miscarries, that is regularly by way of fact theres a chromosomal concern with the appearance up embryo. It has no longer something to do with God taking the infant. there became something incorrect with the embryo. that is fairly a lot desperate at theory whether that is going to miscarry.

For **** sake! Life is fragile and miscarriages are common. There is no fault on anyone, but to believe some non existant being gave your friend an abortion is just going to make her feel guilty and worse!
Any christian who agrees with you on this question will burn in the imagenary hell they so believe in.

No it is survival of the fittest, natural selection in action, at the detached level. On an emotional level it is very distressing. A child is a wonderful gift, but nature/God (delete which you want) can be very cruel as well.

Only if you believe Jesus controls such things. I personally think it means that the pregnancy wasn't sustainable for natural or accidental reasons.
