My tattoo artist has always told me that the amount of the tattoo that will be finished in one sitting depends on how long I can sit. If yours is that small, then you should be able to have it completly finished in about 2 hours at the most. Good luck!

One sitting to complete your tattoo (black & pink). It's just a small one, and your artist should be able to finish it in no time. Why take the trouble to do it in 2 sittings and set up the equipment one more time?

each tattoo is different. how large is the tattoo that you are getting? out of my three tattoos i have had two finished in one sitting. each of them have taken two-ish hours. my third tattoo has taken 20 hours to do and has been done in 2-3 hour sittings. how long you can sit mostly to do with how long you can sit or how much money you have. most tattoo artists are willing to tattoo for a pretty long time to finish a tattoo if that's what you want.

it depends on the size of the tattoo. who did you hear that from? it all depends on you and your artist. after a certain amount of time you may need him to stop if the pain is too much and he will. if its a large tattoo you may need 2 appointments because the artists back may start hurting, so its up to him as well. if its a small tattoo you should be fine in one sitting

there is no reason why they would do an outline and leave it to be colored. unless you are bleeding too much, or feel too sore. i have seen people get whole portraits finished in one day. if there is a lot of color, and it is a full back tattoo, maybe they would have you come back. you can always talk to different parlors, and ask someone who knows what you are getting.

Like every one said if its small or not to large then one trip. Many years ago that was the way to get you to come back to the shop. Artists thought you would bring someone new back and then convince them to get one. It used to be an old artist trick.

if its small then they'll probably do it all at once, if its large, then you'll probably need to make at least 2 trips. either way, you may need to go back for retouching after its 100% healed.
