add a couple more snacks... (and for further info; you cannot cut all fat out of your diet or it'll wreak havoc on your body; shoot for 20-30 grams a day) that's actually harder than it sounds!! but if you are doing good with the apple snack; and you are getting hunger pains, why not split your 3 healthy meals into 6 small meals, you'll be eating more frequently and less likely to cheat... and you'll have something in your belly so the hungar pains won't be so severe... salad with sunflower seeds, and 1-2 tsp shaken work great for me...

Studies have shown that it's best nowadays to eat 5 or 6 mini-meals a day, and not just 3 squares, because then, you get full during the big meals and then a few hours later, you're hungry. But if you're on a diet, this isn't good because maybe you've already eaten your intake limit! Then you eat and gain weight again. So try eating mini-meals, small, mind you, and for a snack, have a handful of nuts, some other protein, fruit, or veggies and low-fat dressing. Yogurt, I've found, fills you up with one serving and usually holds me for a while.
Good that you're drinking lots of water and exercising. Physical activity actually distracts you and can kill cravings, and sometimes, it kills hunger, too!
Also, drinking soda makes you feel full. It doesn't last long, but if you don't have any food around, take a couple swigs of Diet Coke to make yourself feel "full" until you can eat again.
Good luck with the diet!

Hi Love Any Cats.
Smaller meals keep your blood sugar stable- When you're only eating 3 times per day, you're obviously going about 5-6 hours between each meal. This is too long.
Waiting that long between meals will trigger hunger and fatigue- not a good combo on a diet. Waiting 5 or 6 hours between meals is even worse if you're working out regularly.
If you'd like to read it, I wrote a full article on MCNewsletters.com regarding how to combat hunger during a diet I'll leave a link below.
Also, we have a fat burning foods list you can download for free when you're there. if you have any other questions after you read the article, feel free to ask any questions you may have on our site.

>breakfast 400 calories
>snack 100 calories
>lunch 400 calories
>snack 100 calories
>dinner 400 calories
lots and lots of water or cystal light is ok too but not a whole lot .
>no eating after 7pm just water
(breakfast )i eat i cup of high protine ceral an skim milk with a choice of fruit.
snack 100 calorie yogurt or one fruit
(lunch ) eat pretty much what i want( usually lean cuisine)try to keep each meal under 10 grams of fat.
(snack) veggies of fruit
(dinner). no carbs at dinner or fruits( people tend to be more active during the day so its easier to burn the calories then. s stick to baked meat and veggies, or salads.
remember lots of water !!!!
if you eat 5 times a day especially when your not hungry you will feel the urge to bing eat. i started this diet in nov and i was 165 lbs now im 139 today.
keep in mind you still have to exersize My choice was trubo jam. it was a lot of fun. but now i have reached a platou and need a new routine. so im gonna try hip hop abs. well see how much i lose with that. good luck!

The hunger actually hurts at first but with time you get used to it. You eventually accept hunger as part of needing and wanting to be slim. Most anorexics cannot bear to feel full. So the feeling of hunger is reassuring for them. That's how it was for me when i was anorexic (then aged 15) I wont rant but anorexia nearly killed me so i in no way encourage you to be anorexic. If you are eating normal diet but you want to cope with hunger then drink a glass of water.

It means you are not eating enough/getting enough energy and doing only harm to your body - you will lose water weight and muscle not fat and slow down metabolism not even talking about the fact that you will gain it all back.
To get permanent results you have to make permanent changes in your lifestyle- diet and exercise.
You can lose fat only when you create slight deficit in daily caloric intake not a huge one.
Fat free doesnt mean anything - all food you eat is being transfered into energy when you eat it and only if you dont spend it its gona get stored in fat reserves (e.g. have too much fruit and you will gain fat)

I feel your pain. I am dieting also and what I do when I get hungry is drink a V8 or eat a piece of fruit; any and all fruit is good for you. Flowerseeds are a good way to keep your mind off of your diet. You can snack just make sure your snacks are healthy.

If you're getting hunger pains, your body is trying to tell you that you're not feeding it enough food. My guess is that since you're only eating fat-free things, you're not satisfying your body's needs. Going on a diet shouldn't mean cutting out fat. You might also try to add fiber to your meals because it helps you feel more satisfied and keeps your feeling full longer.
