what does it take to be one, do you have to wear suits, and a crown? are we to bow down?

It's involves both questions and answers. When I asked my third question I became one. It is interesting though since I have seen people with excellent percentages of best answer who don't have the "badge". I wish that YA would post the requirements.
No need to bow down and no I never wear a suit and do not deserve a crown. :-)

Yes, you are supposed to bow down.
You are also supposed to give them thumbs up, and choose their answers as "Best Answer."
Other than that, treat us normally.
(If I am not a "Top Contributor" any longer, juswt chuckle, and sadly look away.)

It's a certain number of points per week, and you have to maintain an average of 12% or higher best answers.

i don't know if anyone knows what the exact criteria are. i just woke up one day and was one.
