My ex and I have been off and on for a little over a year now. We are currently broken up and have had a lot of drama over the last week. Their are some things about me that she would like to see me change. When I ask her about getting back together she says that she doesn't want to "right now". She also says that getting back together depends on me and that she is not going to wait forever, which from what I gather is her way of saying that when she is ready to be in another relationship I should have myself together by that time or she will move on for good. She also says that she can't guarantee that she will eventually want to get back together with me, and I could be wrong but I take that to mean that she has no guarantee that I will change so she can't guarantee getting back together with me. I know a lot of times with women yuo sometimes have to read between the lines. Does it sound like she wants to get back together eventually, granted that I make the necessary changes ?

It sounds as if there's something about you or the two of you in a relationship that really rubbed her the wrong way and she's trying to avoid that in the future. It may be your habits or it could be something about her that she wants to change but doesn't think that she can do so with you. It may be better to just move on. She may not ever want you back.

sounds like she's ending the relationship with you in hopes of finding someone else. if she doesn't find someone else, or she decided later it was a dumb move she'll try and get back with you. In any case she convinced you that you have the problem, not her.

Forget about her. If you want to change yourself and you think those changes will make you a better person, go for it. But only if you want. Otherwise, it's time to start moving on. Don't let her manipulate you with the 'i need time and we'll wait and see' story.

Go get another girlfriend because I use to have a relationship just like that. She never changed but she sure thought I should.

You are wasting your life away for that stupid woman. She does not know what she wants. I bet she is dating someone else too.

Forget her. move on!

I think that you should just let her go. She seems like she doesn't know what she wants. I think that you are the person you are and you should find someone who likes you and doesn't want to change you.

If you truly love her, then in loving someone, there is compromise. If you don't want to change, then find a new girl. She obviously will not be with you unless you change.
She sounds fed up.
What change does she want???? Is it reasonable?

If you have to change her for ...
Screw her ...
not to be mean but she should like you for who you are
and not for what she wants you to be
and what it sounds like is that she dosnt want to get back together with you sorry
