If he talks and brings up sex a lot and doesn't care to talk about other subjects. If you bring up another subject he goes back to sex. Pushes you for sex.
If you give it to him and he takes off. Also if you want to know, no matter how much he pushes and wants it don't give him sex for six months, if he's still around, calling you, taking you out, wining and dining you, asks you to be his girlfriend again, goes to church with you, spends holidays with and sits down to dinner with your family then good chance is he doesn't just want sex but he is an EX for a reason, more than likely because thats all he he wanted in the first place.

When they come back.. simple as that. Most times, when an ex starts talking to you again, it's because they want something from you, sex, money.. something. They left you (or you left them) for a reason.. and most times, that reason won't change unless it's been years.. so think about it. If they're talking to you again, and being friendly with you again, it's probably sex they want from you.

some times when ppl. split its not cause of bad sex its just every thing else that they don't get along about....and its hard to go find someone that will just start clicking the sex buttons or the right spots..so sure iv seen lots that have split up get together ever so often just for sex...so that may be all he is wanting....so i bet you were good for him...good luck on what you want

-If all he wants to do when he spends time with is have sex.
-If he leaves immediately after sex.
-If you don't talk to him a lot outside of seeing each other and having sex.
-If he ignores you a lot when the two of you are not together.
-If he is uninterested in listening to you when you need him too.
-If he doesn't take you anywhere or is unwilling to spend time with you unless the two of you are going to have sex or going to a place where you can have sex.
-If all he talks about with you is about sex.
In general, if everything the two of you say, do, or think about is sexually motivated either when you are talking or together then he probably just wants you for sex.

You can tell that sex is all he is after if he 1) always calls at booty call hours and wants to come over just to "talk". 2) If he just started calling out of the blue, and not once gave you the implication that he wanted to be back with you. 3) When you call him after rejecting his advances and he is always just too busy to talk.

When he has a new girlfriend but still wants to sleep with you. My ex contacted me after three months...he wanted to get back together, not just to sleep with me.

If he wants you back, then trying to have sex with you will not happen until later, once the relationship has been re-established.
