If i am out on the floor dancing away and a guy comes up and wants to dance, I usually, smile put my hands up and shake my head no.

its too loud to say no, im sorry.

its too loud to say yes, so if a guy starts dancing with you, dance with him.

Im sorry, your going to a school dance aren't you not a club. The above rules are for clubs.

If you don't want to dance with the boy, tell him no thank you, maybe later. But if you don't want him to ask you later, a straight up no thankyou.

and a good way to say yes is to stand up and dance with him.

Have fun :>)

Yes is easy:
Sure, great, that would be fun, you bet, of course, I'm right there with you.
No can be harder and depends on why you are saying no:
I promised this one to _____ (if its true)
I need to take a break _____ (if you have been dancing hard for a while)
I was just going to... (the ladies room) - if its true.
Why else would you want to say no - dance with all takers unless you have made another commitment or are partied out - and have a great time.

Why say no to anyone? Be polite and dance with them...if it's someone you aren't attracted to then just dance 1 dance and thank them for asking you and excuse yourself.

It takes some courage to ask someone to dance, and it's not like it's a date or anything other than a few minutes of your time...dance with all that ask. You'll feel good about yourself and you'll help keep some boys with questionable self esteem from feeling low due to rejections...

Enjoy!

If you want to go w/ the guy asking, just say yes. If you say no b/c you're already going, a guy you might like could get wind of that and lay off b/c of it. Instead, just suggest that you MIGHT be going w/ someone else, but you're not sure. As guys we hate the vagueness, yet we get used to it and other girls you know will do it anyway.

If a guy asks you and you want to, say, Sure! and go dance.

If you don't want to, tell him No, thanks. Or, I'm not much of a dancer. Or, I'm going to sit this one out... SOrry!
