Try buying a thermos and ice packs. A good list of things to bring for lunch are here:
All natural fruit juice in thermos.
Peanut butter crackers, homade, as commercial brands are full of preservatives that are unhealthy.
Organic Dried Fruit, with no sugar added.
Peanut Butter Sandwiches on whole wheat or whole grain breads.
Apples or Oranges, basicly any fruit that will not spoil or easily bruise on the way to school or the caf.
A small treat such as a low sugar or sugar free cookie for desert.
Other tasty foods for the lunchbox are home made salads with olive oil dressing, small candies one or two times a week, and sugar/fat free pudding and jello cups. You should never buy Lunchables or simalar, as they include candy high in fat, and are full of preservatives. Just see the nutrition labels if you aren't sure. Vegetables such as carrots, cauliflower, or lettuce are always good in plastic Glad bags.

well kids for snacks really like Yogos. Wich is like a snack but a little healthier. Try to keep it fresh and exciting and only pack fruit for a snack once a week. As for lunch pack pasta, sandwich, or salad for the main course, and chips, yogurt, and a fun drink, maybe one of those crystal light packs you can add to water bottles would make it fun, and healthy.
Hope This HElps

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMpKV
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

My son loves the uncrustables made by smuckers. They are premade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with no crust. I love it because it is easy for me.
I send him with 1 sandwich, baby carrots, caprisun, and animal crackers or nilla wafers something like that.
I've sent him with peanut butter and jelly many times and never had a problem. I feel safer sending that rather than lunch meat, which I am afraid will spoil! As long as your son isn't allergic. If anyone in his class is allergic they will sit that person away from the child with peanut butter.

Before my son went to 1st grade I bought this book called "Brown Bag Success." It has lots of ideas that I still use, two years later. It has different sandwich combinations, side dish ideas, etc. Basically everything you asked for above. I put the amazon.com link below, or you can try to get it from your library.
Typically I give my kids a sandwich on whole grain bread, and two sides like low-sugar yogurt and some veggies or fruit. They buy milk at school.
For snacks, I usually give them a piece of fruit.
The produce is easy- I usually just have to wash it and throw it in a bag. I peel oranges and cut off the stems of strawberries at home, but otherwise it's so quick and healthy.

Wraps are great for lunch, also cheese and crackers, fruit salad, hard-boiled eggs, snack mix, etc.
Also instead of an ice pack, you can freeze juice boxes and pop them into her lunchbag. They melt, and she can drink, and it keeps the food cold. Thermos' keep food warm quite well. Bring your daughters lunchpack when you buy one to make sure it fits.
