Ask any religious person that. You'll be swamped by mumbo jumbo, but you'll get a laugh from it.
My answer? - If it looks like there's no one out there now, why do you have to believe there was ever anyone there?

God doesn't hide in the shadows. In fact, He is always with each of us helping us along..WE are the ones who run from God..the universe, as a whole, has strayed away from Him and we need to find our way back. think how AMAZING the world would be if everyone was in love with Jesus!

God isn't hiding in the shadows!
Have you ever heard of the trinity?
God, jesus, and the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is here with us today. He is a teacher, a guide.
After one accepts Christ as their savior, the H.S. comes and lives within our spirit.
People are the ones hiding from God.. not vice versa.

My philosophy of religion professor saidthat a "decitful god" was not a consideration (not sure how he could make that judgement).
But this sort of behaviour, along with massive evidence for evolution, an old universe etc, sure points to a decitful god if he exists.

If Adam and Eve didn't rebel against God and tried to become a God like him then perhaps God would be talking to us today but God realized that mankind didn't want to listen to him and many still don't today so why should he waist his time?

God/Reality is the multi-dimensional universe in which we are embedded that is responsive to consciousness. The shadows are in our own mind.

He is not hiding look around u .u can see him in nature which he created .................u can also see him in some christians and what they do and how they act and what they say. hey christian r not perfect ,we still r human 2!!!!!
