I like to slice the avocado sprinkle with salt and lemon and eat them in corn tortillas grilled over an open flame. Or dice with cucumber, tomatos and shrimp... salt, pepper and lemon and eat as a salad

I agree with the guac. Sometimes I just cut an avocado in half, take out the seed and pour some salad dressing in and eat it with a spoon. YUM.

Morgan M,
There are several ways to eat one. I like to cut it in half remove the seed then score or cut the rest with a knife so that I can just squeeze it out of the skin, add some salsa to it that is so good on anything Tacos, Corn Chips dip.
Now my brother, on the other hand peels his, removes the seed, then cuts it up in chunks adds salt, has it just like that.
Play with it, they are very good for you if you have heart problems due to high cholesterol, they are the good fat.
Enjoy
I've included the Mayo clinic link for you to see.

Eat it as is. I love avocado and it has such a velvet taste that does not need any enhancing. Even sprinkled sugar is overkill. Its sweetness is just right.
Sigh. Why mess with perfection?

Just slice it up and sprinkle with some salt and pepper - mine rarely make it farther than that! I love them! They are great with sliced tomatoes and onions and then drizzled with a little olive oil and vinegar too!

Slice it on a burger or turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and your favorite cheese such as provelone or cheddar.
