give them all six months to register.
anyone picked up/arrested after that point subject to deportation.
anyone who commits a violent crime no second chance.
then follow a similar plan to the govs that would have them compensate the us gov for past due taxes.
take clases to assimilate to the american way of life, good or bad.
pay any fines due.
what do you think? any adders to this plan?

no one has to make sure they register. that is the gem of my idea. after six months from set date it does not matter. you are deported if you have not registered.

I love your ideas but would change the time lines and implementation strategy:

Give them all 6 months to register while conduction nationwide sweeps and a crackdown on employers.

All the while anyone picked up for so much as jay walking gets their status checked, if illegal immediately deport after seizing any assets to pay back taxes and fines and to compenstate governements for all the benefits paid out to illegals. Confiscate business assets of all businesses knowing employing illegals. Do this once or twice on a couple of smaller places and the bigger guys will get with the program.

Anyone who is here immigrating LEGALLY will get assimilated and will have access to ESL classes. Provide and ESL class to illegals on the bus back to the airport of Mexico wherever they are headed.

If you are just having illegals pay fines for citizenship after breaking lots of laws and coming here completely illegally then all you are doing is selling citizenship and selling it very cheaply. I mean if it is for sale let me sign up and act as a broker, many people will you can bet in that. Allowing this to happen for a mere $5000 (as was proposed by our corrupt and faithless senate) will result in a flood of illegals and drugs that that will be used to pay "fines".

There are people today in the UN who are SELLING US visas for abotu $35K they were just on the news. How many do you think will be here if all they have to do is pay a $5000 fine???

Hell even Bin Laden could get in on the action.

Its a good plan but who is gonna make sure they register many of them are here and never get caught.
I'm okay with deportation upon arrest and no chances for violent offenders
if it can be determined when they snuck into the country then back taxes or fines are good with me...or perhaps we could just put a number on it...say two years worth of back taxes on min wage?
I think classes to assimilate to life here is good

I think you better think that solution out a bit longer because I can guarantee you that solution won't work.

Taxes how and how much, they are either day labors that pay no taxes or using false SSN.

Violent crime LA county alone 75% of outstanding warrant are for illegals that have committed violent crimes and they can't find them now. So how would you deal with that.

But, in you solution it would be okay if a illegal used someones ID SNN and bankrupt them or just caused them financial harm, just so long as it wasn't violent act right?

Assimilate they want you to assimilate to them. lol

There are some other real majors probems with your solution
but, I won't there.

Again, you better re think your solution.

I think that they probably need more than six months to
register and a pretty high profile campaign to make sure they all know to do it. It is only fair.
One question, where would they register?
Maybe a form they could pick up at the post office. But then who would check to make sure that they are who they say they are? What type of documentation would be required for this? This is really a monumental task. No one really knows how many illegals there are in the US. We just know it is a lot.

I also think that they need to open the boarder to any one who wants to come in as long as they register with INS. This way we really can know who is in our country.

Where I live we have huge problem with coyotes sneaking illegals across the boarder and then imprisoning them.
There are raids all the time on the news. It is a huge problem.
If people were allowed to come into our country legally and work to help their families, I think that they would take it.

Americans also need to get it out of their heads that illegals steal jobs. That is the biggest farce. I know employers who feel they have no choice because they can not find legal people to employ and they need to get their work done. They are desperate for people.
Many (probably most) Americans are living in houses made on the backs of illegal aliens. Be gracious.

I think that we need to accept that they are here and that the immigration laws as they stand makes it hard for even aliens that come in legally to stay here legally.

Your idea is good but, there is a long way to reforming all that is wrong with immigration laws.

Yeah that appears like an incredible theory. in certainty deliver a number of those prisoners to the front strains in iraq additionally and positioned across our infantrymen living house and that they could seal the boaders, then i do no longer think of there could be many entering into illegally

you seem to imply that they would cooperate, without that you plan wouldn't work and i don't see that happening.

most don't want to assimilate, they want to take the money and run that is why you see so many waving the Mexican flag and the viva la raza signs. they feel they are entitled to our land, education and medical care at the expense of the American tax payer. one only has to look at Mexico to see the future of America is a solution isn't found and enforced!

like many things, it sounds good in theory but doesn't have a chance in practice.

I think.... that definitely won't work.

The same flaw lies in your plan as in our amnesty-after-6-years policy that was recently introduced:

You arrest them, ask them how long they've been in the country, and under the US' current policy: "oh, senor, i've been here 6 years".
Under your policy: "oh, senor, i've been here 2 months".

It just won't work.

I don't know why INS doesn't flock to the illegal immigrant's rallies. They have the right to peacefully assemble, under the constitution's 1st amendment.... except NOT, because i guarantee you that 99% of the attendees are not citizens, and not entitled to our rights.
if we won't do that, then we should take away everything that makes our country so desirable, i.e. the ability to get housing, any free medical attention, work, social security (which they achieve by fraud)... ETC.

They're criminals and they should be treated as such.

1. As American citizens we can create a climate of hostility and fear in the illegal community. Despite all their tough posturing they are easily intimidated.

2. Accept the fact our leadership are traitors
and we all know how to deal with traitors.

3. build a stainless steel fence designed to cut anyone in half who tries to scale it.
4. if a illegal commits a crime , his employer gets the same sentence. In a murder case, the guy he is working for swings with him.

You forgot enforcement, unless you close the borders and stop the employment of illegal workers we will be talking about this again and even more angry in about 5 years maybe less at the rate illegals are currently crossing our borders.
