So I guess the consensus is that I'm a total loser.
Unless of course, I am the Prince of Wales (I'm not really), live in a palace, and have millions of dollars at my disposal. Then I'm hot.

That description alone sounds quite unappealing. Surely you have some good qualities or a reason for living with your parents without a job.
Prince of Wales is kind of a job though. And that is hot! :-P

I am 25, an engineer and live 200 miles from my parents....so I'm going to say NO. Get a life and move out and get a job. Girls your age don't want a 200 pound child, they want an independent and self supporting partner.

Wait -- women always say that it's what's inside that counts. People shouldn't be judged by outside appearances and material things. If you are truly honest, kind, caring and genuine guy, who is considerate and willing to compromise, and is trustworthy, then there will be women beating a path to your parents' door!
Women aren't so shallow that they require you to have a certain level of financing in order to be datable. Only guys are shallow.

No, and especially not when you lay it out that way. We all know that there is more to a relationship than age, location, and employment. You could be the most charming, intelligent, wonderful man and just stuck in that situation. Whatever it is, it shouldn't keep you out of the game.
