Why does it seem like girls are more likely to break up with you, if you're nice to them?

Some girls like bad boys. Plus, they may not be used to a guy who's nice to them. They see a nice guy as a wimp, and no one wants a wimpy guy by their side. But it's due to immaturity. Wait until they're old enough to get married, or are already used up, then they'll come to the nice guy wanting some actual love and affection. But hopefully by then, u'll find a girl who'll love and appreciate that ur one of the nice guys out there, aNd will keep u around because ur nice.

It’s evolution and survival of the fittest. Girls want to “mate” with the best guy available and that usually means physical appearance and confidence/*********. “Bad boys” like football players, rock band guys, gangsters and run-of-the-mill playas usually have a lot of confidence/********* and have a different outward appearance (big muscles, long hair, spiky hair, baggy clothes, drive fancy cars…) If you want to compete, you have to compete within you social circle. If you’re a band geek, stand out among the band geeks and you’ll probably get the prettiest band girl.

Guys that act really “nice” and “listen” to girls, are just acting like another “female”. It’s sad but watch the Pick Up Artist show on VH1. They say you have to do things that show “higher self value”. Girls want the “nice” and “good listener” type after they date a guy for a long time. It’s kind of hypocritical, but oh well!

you are right. the women I treat with respect and treat well want nothing do with me. the more Gallant i am the more they run away.
the women I treat poorly or abuse and don't care about .
seem most interested.
to bad, because i like being nice.

being nice and a dollar will get you a ride on the subway.

same thing in business . the clients i treat badly, give me referrals.

That's crazy girls who like playing games and don't know what they want. Silly chicks take nice as desperate too often. Silly lonely girls. Hold out for a good one with some sense. She'll be sooo worth the wait.

Seriously. I think women look to the men in their life (on some subconscious level) to be a sort of protector. If you come off too too nice and sweet then they think you won't be a very effective protector.

But go to the gym, develop those shoulders and chest and you'll have to beat the chick off with a stick. *And* it won't matter how you act to them :)

I can only say that you must be picking the wrong girls. If they're young, it may just be that they're not ready for a real committment. I have a VERY nice guy and I love it. The right person will cherish a nice guy.

Because nice is boring and safe. The badass jerk who mistreats them reminds them of a rock star. So, all woman love being treated like trash.

They don't really want love, they just want the perception of trying to get it and tame the @$shole they love.

If you want a girl, be a jerk and don't respect her. She'll love and respect you more for it. Because that IS how a real man is suppose to act and everyone knows it.

I don't know...but I noticed that about myself when I was younger. I always broke up with the nice guys but stayed with the @ssholes. I think because it was a challenge to get the mean ones to be nice. It never worked though. lol

they would probably break up with the mean guy for the same reason the difference is that they know you are nice and wont give them a hard time about it where as an asshole might cause a problem

Young girls like bad boys that treat them like dirt! This is their nature at that age. Only after they mature and realize that money is the most important feature in life, do they go over to the well to do nicer guy.
