I don't know what" mormoons" are but generally I think most people are honest. As with anything though there is always a group of bad apples.

Yes, Mormons are generally honest just like everyone else. And yes, people do become infatuated by corresponding via email. Do you know if the feelings are returned? Does the person know you're not Mormon? A traditional Mormon typically won't date outside the church.
Also, if you've only emailed each other you really can't be certain of anything they've told you--including that they're Mormon.

They are just as fallible as the rest of us. I know a woman who was raised in a Mormon family. The father beat and abused the mother and kids, tortured animals (in front of the kids), gave over to alcoholism, and cheated. The Mormon heirarchy protected him because of the lack of respect showed women in general. The family ended up having to run away from him to another state.
So, treat your situation like any other. It's not by virtue of being a Mormon that this person is good or not; it's the qualities that you see and appreciate that should drive your choices.

I don't think they are any more or less honest then people in general.
I think their likeliness to fall in love with someone over the internet is the same as anyone else is.
I do not agree with Cathy though. I am with a Mormon man and we have a child together. I am agnostic and challenge the doctrine more then any other person I know. lol He loves that about me.

Your religious preference usually says nothing about your honesty. A group can't be generally honest -- its up to the individual.
But I don't believe that you can fall in love over the internet. I think that true love means accepting and loving every aspect of that person ... even the parts that drive you crazy!

I believe they are generally honest people. It isn't in their religion to lie about anything. People in every religion lie. You can't say just mormons do. They just simply have different beliefs. They believe their body is the temple.

Put it this way - the honest ones are honest, and the dishonest ones are dishonest. Just like Buddhists, or ice cream salesmen, or acrobats.

Put it this way....there are a lot of people you can not trust regardless of what religion they are. There are a few people you can trust and they are parts of many different religions.
