i saw the diagram on this website.. the snug is that hard piece that is on the outer part of the ear.. i like that one but by the way that part feels on my ear, it feels like it is going to hurt really badly.

i have to say that my pain tolerance for piercings is fine, but the healing process is always difficult. i got my cartilidge pierced a while back and i had to keep taking it out for soccer games.. i could never find the hole because the area would be all swollen and red, so i just took it out.

I'll also rate the ones I have experience with:
h (hurts more when it gets farther up)
i (makes a crunching sound)
a,c,d (all pretty close, and hurt about the same)
f (hard to get earphones in for about a year after you do this)
b (hurts twice as much as i, have to align it carefully)
e,g (haven't had these, but they are both supposed to hurt like utter hell)

it all depends on how U take pain and how hard the part of the ear is where U want to get it pierced. Everyone is different in the way of pain, so U wont know until U get it pierced

Lobe: pain - 2, healing - 5
Tragus: pain - 3, healing - 2
Helix: pain - 5, healing 7 (i had a horribl time with getting these to heal)

soreness is a type of issues it is distinctive for each guy or woman b/c extremely everyone has a distinctive tolerance for soreness. yet from asking around and private journey the common is a few 2, 2 a million/2. desire that facilitates.
