i downloaded an iso file for rosetta stone it says after i download it i need to burn it to a cd which i have done and then install it i dont know what to do becuase i cant install it any ideas?

I think the best thing to do is to download daemon manager.It creates some virtual drivers so if you want to install something you won't need to use a cd-dvd. I find this useful.
Anyway,mount a image on the desired drive...
don't know if it will wok because i didn't finish downloading the iso file.

ISO files are CD / DVD image files, that contain a description of what the disk should look like when duplicated.

In OS X, Spotlight search for: burn ISO
It should be similar to what is described in the link above.
