Not in huge clumps...I'm not bald, but I'm afraid I will be?

When I shower (everyday), when I shampoo (also everyday with the shower) after I lather my hair I look at my hands before rinsing off the bubbles and stuff, and I see my hair. Usually like 5-8 strands of hair. Is this normal, or should I shampoo less?

How can I fix it without having oily hair every other day?

Also, it doesn't matter what shampoo I use. I use whatever is in the shower, so matrix for men makes my hair fall out, pantene smooth makes my hair fall out, head and shoulders makes my hair fall out....conditioner of any type only takes out like 2 strands of hair, but after using conditioner my hair is really smooth (normal i guess) but feels really thin and wispy (not normal?)

The person who said the thing about the natural oils in your hair is right. Wash your hair every other day or if you can stand it every 2 days. I know you're not a girl, but you still need to brush your hair for at least 2 minutes everyday that will kill your hair from falling out, and spread your natural oils around. Also you may need to buy a protein pack for your hair. Your hair may be falling out because it lacks protein. You can find them at Sally's for like 2 bucks. Just wash your hair, and then put the protein pack on your head, with a shower cap let it sit on your head for an hour then rinse it, this will also stop your hair from falling out.
You said you have oily hair? I suggest putting hair powder in your hair, that will suck up all the oil and allow you to skip a day or two of washing. Also, you may want to try a more natural shampoo, I suggest using a shampoo from a health food store.

i would suggest using less shampoo. or at least try shampooing your hair once in two days instead of everyday. I personally dont shampoo everyday, only conditioner is used daily.

to avoid oily hair, try using products which are not cream based. especially if u have straight hair.

yea, i would think that its quite normal that some conditioner makes your hair feels thin and wispy. u may want to try volumizing conditioner or refreshing conditioner if u want your hair to feel less so. clairol herbal essences has got some good products for such.

also avoid rinsing with water which is too warm. and right before you towel-dry your hair, i would also suggest applying some cold water to your hair using your palms. no need to soak, just coat.

i hope this helps. x

Hair falls out from it being dry and brittle causing it to weaken and fall off. You need to condition with a good conditoner as often as you shampoo. I suggest going to a beauty salon so they can look at you hair and tell you what would be good for your type of hair texture.

it is normal to loose some hair on a daily basis as long as your growing new hair at the same rate......if you start to see a receding hair line or a thinning area on the top.....then you would be experiencing male pattern baldness! Rogane foam supposedly stops the hair loss.
