Ladies, how did you or do you feel when your boyfriend/fiance/husband leaves you for another woman of a different race? I'm not racist by all means, but it felt like a total slap in the face when my ex and I broke up(mutually, we weren't even ready to break up, but we were heading down different paths and started to grow apart)...and he went and got himself a white girl (no offense). My ex and I are both black. I was just wondering what other women felt if they went through this before. Please no ignorant comments...this question is not meant to be racially offensive.

When my ex left, I went to a black man. I am a white woman and my ex is white, too.

He asked my oldest daughter...she was about 13 at the time..What's up with your mom and that African American guy? My daughter replied to him...what's up with you dad...are you racist?

I don't think it has anything to do with you personally. I think it's all how people interact and what they find in common and attractive in a person.

I think what he did has nothing whatsoever to do with you. So it really isn't a slap in the face to you.
People date people of other races today. It's not that uncommon.

actually its not race that is the probelm he found someone and went with them that is what it really is and therefore well why would it matter you two were done and this is just the end of the time of it all. so what you are ok and you can move on and get something going and find someone of your own liking now. take care.

Don't take offense. Race doesn't matter. You both mutually broke up... move on.
