I am looking at the canon 30d and the canon Mark III cameras and am interested in the USA model only(no grey or import models). Is digicombos.com a reputable place to purchase digital cameras? Their prices seem reasonably priced, maybe a little on the low side- any comments? Are they a canon authorized dealer?

Only two reviews on resellerratings, both are satisfied customers. Not sure if they are Canon authorized, or whether the cameras they sell are USA or grey market imports. They may be alright, but just be cautious when the prices are significantly lower than other those of other reputable shops. Use a Visa or Mastercard when ordering, so that if the merchandise is not what the seller claimed to be, you have an option to get your money back from the cc.

I have not done business with them, no. But one way to see if they are a good company, is look at what they sell. What some places do is give you a bunch of stuff in a package, such as memory cards, filters, mini tripods and cheap bags. This will allow them justify the price. Also, when they say, "We're selling this product for $500 less," that is also another sign. Here are some good businesses that wont scam you:
B&H Photo is a nice one.
Also Wolfes Camera, not Wolf Camera. Wolfes Camera has been in business for over 80 years, and they are the best place to look.
One thing I nociced is that you say you either the Canon 30D or EOS Mark III. They just came out with the 40D, and it's about the same price as the 30D. Check at Wolfes.com for it, because I saw today they just got it in under their new arrivals. Also, have you looked at the Canon 5D? It's a very nice camera as well.

Call them and ask "Does this camera have a USA warranty?" If they reply "It has a full manufacturers' warranty." ask them again. If you get the same answer its probably a gray market camera. Tell them thanks and hang up.

Wolf es and B&H have been mentioned. I'll add KEH and Adorama.
