So they put an used motor in my car but they did not tell me I had to pay a deductible.I just now finding out today when I went to pick up my car.My claim representative did not inform me of a deductible.So, do I pay since they told me it was an act of G0d.

Yes. If you had had an accident that wasn't your fault, you wouldn't pay the deductible, but if it was your fault you would. You do have to pay for Acts of God.

Yep it is in your insurance policy. Anytime you have a claim you have to pay the deductable again. Standard insurance practice. What you should have done was to get them to write the check to you or directly to your mechanic, he could have jacked the price up enough to cover your deductable (also standard practice) just don't tell the insurance company what you are up to.

If you have a policy with a deductible, it needs to be paid whenever you make a claim.

Always read the fine print. It said this about the deductible in your policy.

If your policy states that you have a deductible on your comprehensive policy then YES.

YES, YOU HAVE TO PAY EVEN IF IT WAS AN ACT OF GOD.

NO ONE IS EXEMPT.
