Use Luzianne tea, I've found it's the best. It can be tough to find (I had a hard time finding it when I moved from NC to IL). Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil, add a cup or so of sugar (not artificial sweetner) and steep the tea bags as directed. Soo good!! I'm gonna go make some!!

Here is my never fail sweet tea...
Bring 3-4 cups of water to a boil. Add a pinch of baking soda to the water and add 3 family sized tea bags. Remove from heat and cover. Allow to sit for at least 10-15 minutes. Pour into gallon pitcher and add sugar. Then fill with cold water. Refrigerate.
*the soda takes out the bitterness and darkens the tea....this small amount doesnt change the taste.
Enjoy!!

When making sweet tea all you do is when the water is hot and the tea bags are steeped. That's when you put the sugar(1-1/2 cups per gallon of tea)in the tea and dissolve it.Then pour into your pitcher and add more water and ice.Dissolve that sugar so it will be sweet.Hope I helped, been doing it for years.I make 5 gallons at a time..My family is large.

boil some water in a pan and already put the tea bag in there while it starts to boil...i use lipton which i think most people like better....pour 1 1/3 cups of sugar in a pitcher and after the tea has started to boil, empty out the tea in the pitcher and then add more water in the pot with the tea bag still in it and then pour it into the pitcher...do this till the pitcher fills up....stir and you got some good ol sweet tea : )

Stop using white sugar and turn to grade "C" maple syrup. Your teas and lemonades will change your lives.
