It depends on your insurance company. For instance, in California, if you have Allstate and someone borrows your car for the day (or a short time, as long as it's not habitually) then your coverage extends to them. Some insurance companies do not extend to other drivers. You should call your insurance company.

Yes, but if they have a wreck or get pulled over by the police or something...it's going down from there. I don't let just anybody drive my car, only family.

My boyfriend's mom has full coverage on her vehicle. I had to borrow her car and I was covered. Call your ins agent and see if covers something like that. Of course, that's if you only let them borrow it a few times, not drive it permanently.

yes, but if they get into a car accident, your insurance does not cover them. I wouldn't do it if I were you, because things happen!!!

Depends on your state. In texas your desgnated driver better be on your insurance, or you are liable if he gets in a wreck.
