Hey there! I'm trying to find a way to get home to San Diego from Hollywood late at night (like after 11) WITHOUT driving - any public transportation options open to me that late? I assume I'll have to first get to Union Station...?

THANKS! :)

well I check Amtrak (no good there is a Amtrak bus but
you have to book a train with that (so thats out
I checked greyhound from both Hollywood and Los Angeles
but it leaves Hollywood *before 11pm*
here's that schedule
HOLLYWOOD, CA 09:50pm GLI 6731
LOS ANGELES, CA 10:10pm GLI 6731
LOS ANGELES, CA Transfer 10:45pm :35 CRP 7553
SANTA ANA, CA 11:30pm 11:30pm CRP 7553
SAN DIEGO, CA
now there from Los Angeles to San Diego
on 12:45am 03:15am 2h, 30m 0 CRP 7549
02:30am 04:50am 2h, 20m 0 CRP 7555
d=day h=hour m=minute CRP: CRUCERO (this
is (NOT GREYHOUND ) but a company that contracts out
to Greyhound for service to San Diego (and TJ)
and a majorty of those drivers dont speak much english either)

they have 2 departure
on
12:45am 03:15am 2h, 30m 0 CRP 7549
02:30am 04:50am 2h, 20m 0 CRP 7555
d=day h=hour m=minute CRP: GREYHOUND/CRUCERO

but now you have the problem of trying to gt from
Hollywood to the Los Angeles Greyhound station
so went to the metro trip planner
got found these trips

HOLLYWOOD VINE STATION Lv: 11:04PM
To: 7TH ST METRO CENTER STATION Ar: 11:18PM
Pay $1.25, Monthly Pass: $62.00, (EZ Pass accepted)
Ride Metro Bus 60( ARTESIA STATION) heading east
From: 7TH ST/FLOWER ST(SE corner) Lv: 11:35PM
To: 7TH ST/DECATUR ST(SW corner) Ar: 11:43PM
hope this helps

If you are in Hollywood, at Hollywood Bl and Highland next to the Chinese Theater is the Metro Rail. Take the Metro Rail to Union Station and then the Amtrak to San Diego.

Amtrak I would assume. I took a train from LA to SD but not sure on the times. Go to Amtrak website and check to see if the trains travel that late.
