I don't believe in predestination and the majority of other Christians don't either. Your relationship is not fake, no person is more special to God than another.

First of all, not all Christians believe in the doctrine of predestination. The opposing argument is called Armenianism, and most Christians would fall between these two extremes. The fact of the matter is that if you believe that Christ died for your sins and you have accepted His gift of salvation, you are saved and nothing at all can take that away from you. Even proponents of predestination argue that you cannot seek God unless He predestines you, so the very fact that you are worried about this would mean that He has predestined you.
Personally, I believe that the choice to accept salvation is one that each person makes, and you are not predestined to choose one way or the other. God knows what you will choose, but He doesn't force you to choose that way.
I hope that helps!

Predestination and free will are very complicated things, especially for a very human brain like mine.
God is outside of time. Therefore to God, all moments of time are present to God as if they are all now.
When God establishes his eternal plan of "predestination", he includes in it each person's free will response to his grace.
So the omniscience (all-knowing-ness) of God does not deny our free will to respond to accept the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

There's only one man on the earth that God guides and instructs. The people he doesn't, but many are convinced that he does.
All are here to learn not to blaspheme.
God doesn't always reveal prove to everyone, only those that he has a need to.
Anyway, I am the sign you're looking for.

not to worry. the strong Calvinist doctrine of predestination is not what the Bible teaches. God wills that all people come to the truth and be saved. He does not deny any that opportunity if they wish. only after Calvin did some people interpret it that way.

Predeterminism is not what I see the New Testament teaching and it seems completely inconsistent with God's Goodness and merciful Justice.
Don't worry. Trust Jesus and struggle by grace to live by faith His Commandments in love. We all need to throw ourselves on God's Mercy for God desires the salvation of all.

It is all about faith. Yes-God wants you, He loves you far more than you may know or see at the moment. Keep praying and seeking Him above all else.He will hear you and reveal Himself to you. No, your relatioship with God is not a fake if you are truly sincere.

Perhaps you'd be interested in the Jewish version.... There is no eternal torment!!! Christians developed the concept of eternal punishment, perhaps borrowed from Zoroastrianism.
If you have *faith* in God, you will not agonize over your fate in the world-to-come.
