Ok so I am tired of playing the waiting around game to see if a guy's interested in me or not. I am tempted to send an e-mail letting the guy know I am interested in him, but I am afraid it will be too forward. Guys, how would you feel if you recieved an e-mail that went something like this:
Hey (guy's name),
I know this is kind of random, but I am tired of having to figure out if a guy I am interested in feels the same about me. So I decided to e-mail you and ask rather than having a friend find out or casually ask if you have a girlfriend or are dating anyone. No pressure, if you don't feel the same way about me, that's fine. I just wanted to skip all the silly games we play trying to figure out who the other person "likes", I mean we're not in 6th grade here! Anyways, I hope you're having a great day and that this e-mail hasn't completely scared you off or freaked you out. :-)
Sincerely,
Me
What are your thoughts on it? Is there a better way to word/write/come across?

Good. Why did you wait this long to say something? I can never figure out why women sit on their hands doing nothing and yet expect to somehow get what they want.
One really really big suggestion would be to take out that first sentence. It's way too accusatory. Don't start out blaming him for your inaction? If you wanted to know how he felt you could have asked at any time.
The rest is ok but that first part sounds like you're looking for a fight.

If this guy likes you back you won't have to worry about being too forward. But why not tell him in person. Telling him in person would be more romantic and/or would have more personal meaning than just writting an e-mail. Plus that way you make sure he understands your feelings.

No, its not a sign the person thinks the marriage will fail. It is protection for both parties. If you have ever been in a bad place financially you would understand. A lot of people take it as a blow to the ego. But, with 50% of marriages ending in divorce, its a reality you need to hope for the best but plan for the worst. It doesnt mean that they dont love you. They do. But how can you deny the possibility? And its not just in case of divorce, it can also be effective in cases of death.

Well, it will definitely accomplish your point...
If he likes you, it should be fine.
If he's not ready for that kind of a step though, don't be surprised if you never hear from him again... ever...
Saying this to a guy who's not looking for a relationship will drive him off fast.

It sounds mature to me, I know I'm not a guy, but it's my opinion. Hopefully you will get some genuine opinions from some men. Best wishes!

Never hurts to let him know - I would be flattered! Then I'd reply one way or the other! So, at least then you'll know what he thinks!

I think that's totally cute, if he didnt like you, he will now! I think its best to just be forward also, not presumptious but forward.
