You are not doing too well are you junior?

Sport turns up as a word more for fun than anything in old english. Used in conjunction with killing animals moreso than any contest on equal ground or whatever you made up. " Great sporte it is the taking off game fleet of foote and feather" etc type of thing.

As to whether animals pack heat. Well at least they have a fighting chance with a great sense of hearing and smell.

Whatever animals we/you eat, or allow to be tortured to death during medical testing in laboratories so you can wear cologne don't have much of a sporting chance at all do they?

I'm a female and i agree with the rest of the folks that after I spend money on the tag and license. I shoot, clean and take the animal back with me to I FEED MY FAMILY. If I had not made any kill that night i will not eat. My family will be upset. I enjoy animals, I enjoy hunting and just the beauty of sitting in that tree, I enjoy eating meat. oh my gosh, your missing out on the goods!!!! That's a sport. just so you know. it takes skills to shoot a bow.

In olden times sports were used to hone skills in the off season that were required during the season of hunting. I would put my money on the animal instead of you if you went hunting as your mindset is already that of a loser.

Your dictionary is wrong. There is nothing equal in life and you liberals seem to think the real world doesn't exist. Go into the den of a mountain lion and wait for the kitty to come home. Be a good sport and go for it...

Cause after I spend money on the tag and license, ( which helps fund Wildlife management). I shoot, clean and take the animal back to my cave where I FEED MY FAMILY. If I had not killed that deer/elk/hog/ etc. the fish and game department would go out and do it anyways. I enjoy animals, I enjoy hunting, I enjoy eating meat. And I eat meat and watch football. Aha!!!! That's a sport. That sums it up. If you want to go hunting give me a call.

Hunting has been considered sport for several millenia now. Perhaps it's your definition that's in error. Maybe you're thinking of "games."

Ah, no they don't pack 'heat;' they do come armed with twenty knives (clawed paws) and numerous edged weapons in their mouth. Ever seen a wild boar's tusks? Sometimes they also come equiped with goring horns and butting heads.
