I meen how do you hook them up?

you plug them into the ps3 using the ps3 recharge cable (usb cable) into the ps3 when all the controllers are charged push the ps button while the controllers are still connected to the recharge cable and ps3 do that for each controller then have fun.and you can have 8 controllers

It supports up to 7 controllers, just press the PS button and they will pick up a number, it has up to 4 leds so for controllers from 1-4 it will be lit only the number of controller it is assigned, for controllers like 5 for example it will lit the number 1 led and the number 4 led and so on.
To do this you must first connect each controller via a USB cable to pair them with your PS3 console.

Once they're charged, you press the PS button on each of them. Different lights will stay on for each controller. Not sure if it's only up to 7 though.
