You seem like a nice girl and your only 17. you've got LOTS of time! I used to feel the same way. It'll eventually come around or you can try to conjure up the courage to ask a guy out. Trust me, you can bet that a guy would be just as nervous about asking you out. Besides, I've never heard of a guy who doesn't want a girl to ask him out. Give it a shot, who knows what will happen. You never know until you try. Good luck!

You sound SUPER! Don't set your standards of life on having or not having a boyfriend. Sounds like you have some great standards of not smoking, drinking, doing drugs, etc. Don't compromise.
Are you going to become a linguist? There are lots of companies that hire linguists for their "overseas" accounts or even the United Nations. You have a great future. Concentrate on your future plans and the guys will follow. You don't have to believe the bull that you need a guy at this time in your life and if you force it, he will probably be the wrong one.
Work toward your future. The right guy is out there for you and probably wondering and hoping the same thing. Don't rush it. Wait for him.

I had my first date when I was 17. All things happen in due time. You'll find love. Just about everyone does. Don't get down on yourself. You're too young to be negative. Keep yourself attractive neat and keep your mind active. That way when the right guy comes around, he'll take notice of what a fine young girl you are.

sounds like you have a lot of interesting attibutes, and yes I suspect eventually you are going to find that person that makes you feel loved. It will be a person who looks at the complete package, of beauty, and accompishments and feels a deep kinship to all that he sees. Don't settle for less.
